Greenville, Maine

Service Provided:

The original steam distribution system in this high school was 1933 vintage prior to the start of this project. The steam distribution system was also suffering from mechanical integrity issues. Additionally, none of the air handling systems were in working order.

School Union 60 elected to perform a heating conversion from steam to hot water. APEX was retained to survey, document, specify, and design a hot water distribution system using the existing radiators and unit ventilators. The high school was also converted to a pressurized hot water delivery system in conjunction with a new biomass hot water boiler installation.
