Kittery, Maine

For this project, APEX provided MEP engineering services in support of the reconfiguration of the Ball Honing area. The scope of work included the relocation of existing machines as well as the installation of new machines as part of a process reconfiguration effort.

Caribou, Maine

APEX provided engineering services to Xpress Natural Gas in support of their compressed natural gas truck unloading station at the Cary Medical Center located in Caribou, ME.

Lebanon, New Hampshire

APEX provided the following information to Xpress Natural Gas (XNG) for the compressed natural gas (CNG) truck unloading station at The Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center located in Lebanon, NH.

Stratton, Maine

ReEnergy Stratton was looking for a probable cost estimate for a steam supply and condensate return pipeline from their biomass power plant to the Stratton lumber sawmill. The system would be a closed loop system with a condensate return.

Eliot, Maine

In 2013, Xpress Natural Gas (xNG) hired APEX Engineering (APEX) to design a greenfield compressed natural gas (CNG) Compressor Station in Eliot, Maine. The new compressor station was designed for five natural gas compressors, two gas dryers, and a gas cooler system.

Dominican Republic

Inasca Agroindustrial (Inasca) operates a palm oil processing facility in El Valle, Hato Mayor Province, Dominican Republic. The major inputs to the palm oil process, other than the palm fruit, are water, steam, and electricity (provided by diesel generators).

Hampden, Maine

In 2012, APEX designed the HVAC and plumbing for the new 70,000 square foot Bangor Hydroelectric Operations Center, as well as designed a cutting-edge geothermal and variable refrigerant flow system that will provide energy-efficient year-round comfort for all the occupants.

Westbrook, Maine

Calpine Energy Center located in Westbrook, Maine purchased two (2) pressure reducing valves (PRV) to replace the existing ones on their natural gas service.

VAMC West Haven, Connecticut

APEX was approached by Greenland Enterprises, Inc. to provide the mechanical design for new condensate pits located in Buildings 1 and 2 at the VAMC West Haven campus.

Sterling, Connecticut

APEX Engineering (APEX) was asked by ReEnergy Holdings to provide design and associated engineering services for a new boiler ventilation system for their facility located at 10 Exeter Drive in Sterling, Connecticut.
